The Disc-lock wheel Nut is a free spinning vibration proof wheel nut
which is considered to be far superior in terms of safety than
conventional wheel nuts. It comprises of three pieces, each one with
interlocking cams which are joined together to form one assembly. When
subjected to road shock and vibration the interlocking cams of the Disclock
rise against each other further locking the assembly, eliminating the
possibility of the nut ever coming loose. The nut is installed in the same
way as conventional nuts using the recommended torques. For removal
the socket is placed over the hexagon nut and the hexagon flanged
washer and then loosened.
